Who runs this site
audit.aeobob.com, the free AEO Bob audit, is run by Master 22 Solutions LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. This policy covers the audit on this site. The AEO Bob WordPress plugin has its own policy on aeobob.com.
What we log for each audit
Each completed audit, from this site or from our audit API, is saved as one record with:
- the address of the page that was audited
- its AEO score, and its status: ok, fixes needed, or blocked (a site that turned the audit away is logged with a score of 0)
- where the audit came from: this site or our audit API
- the page that linked you here, if your browser shares it, and the utm_source and utm_campaign tags in the address you arrived on, if any
- the date and time of the audit
The record holds no name, email address, IP address or account: the free audit has no signup. We use these records to count audits and to see which links bring people to the audit.
Usage limits
To keep the audit available for everyone, our server counts audits by IP address: up to 10 every 10 minutes and 60 a day. The counts are kept in the server's memory, cover only the last 24 hours, and aren't saved to our database.
The site you audit
To run an audit, our server fetches the page you enter and a few public files from the same site, such as its robots.txt and sitemap. It reads only what a logged-out visitor can see.
What stays in your browser
Your browser keeps the latest scans of the 20 pages you audited most recently, so running the audit again can show what improved. This stays in your browser's storage on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Done-for-you links
The "Fix my score for me", "Want it done for you?" and other done-for-you links go through our server, which logs the click (the audited page address, its score and platform, if any, which link was used, and the time) and then opens our contact form with the audited page address filled in, or the page where you can order the done-for-you service.
The contact form
When you send us a message through the contact form, we keep:
- your name and email address
- your website, what you need, your platform and your message, if you give them
- if you came from an audit, the audited page address, its AEO score and which link you used
- the page that linked you to the form, if your browser shares it, and any utm_source and utm_campaign tags in its address
- the date and time you sent it
We use these details only to reply to you, and we reply by email. Your IP address isn't stored with your message: like the audit, the form is rate limited by IP address in our server's memory only. Messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for our records.
